This Special Issue presents 9 papers selected from the 2nd International Conference on Futuristic Advancements in Materials, Manufacturing and Thermal Sciences (IC FAMMT 2024). The conference was held at the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, IITRAM Ahmedabad, India, during January 19-21, 2024. The conference was organized jointly by the Institute of Infrastructure, Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, India & Space Society of Mechanical Engineers (SSME), Space Applications Center, ISRO, Ahmedabad. With over 250 attendees from both India and overseas, the conference witnessed the presentation of a total of 207 full papers over the course of three days. The distinguished personalities gracing the event as chief guest and guest of honor were Shri A. S. Kiran Kumar (Padma Shri), former Chairman, ISRO, India, and Prof. Avinash Agrawal of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur. Renowned speakers from both India and overseas shared their cutting-edge research across two plenary sessions and eight keynote sessions. The plenary talks were given by Prof. Avinash Kumar Agrawal (IIT Kanpur) and Prof. Suman Chakraborty (IIT Kharagpur). The keynote speakers were Prof. Kantesh Balani (IIT Kanpur), Prof. D.T. Pham (University of Birmingham), Prof. Ramesh Singh (IIT Bombay), Dr. K.J. Uke (CSIR-CMERI), Prof. U. S. Dixit (IIT Guwahati), Prof. I.S. Jawahir (University of Kentucky), Dr. Nirmal Parmar (Zebra Technologies, Czech Republic), and Prof. M. M. Pandey (IIT Guwahati). The conference was supported by prominent agencies and industries including Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) Govt. of India, Linseis India, Jyoti Electronics Pvt. Ltd., and Sun Fibo Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
