Single-loop control of grid-tied synchronverter for the desired power injection

The objective of this submission is to come-up with a single loop control architecture of inverter for controlling both the active and reactive powers injected into the grid. Here, the inverter is realized as a synchronverter, however, the requirement of Q-V control loop is compensated by simply defining the required voltage for injecting the required reactive power. This, in turn, yields desired power regulation with application simplicity and minimal control variables. The applicability of the simplified synchronverter control for different network R/X ratios is verified by considering different study cases.
