This Special Issue presents 7 papers selected from the International Conference on Futuristic Advancements in Materials, Manufacturing and Thermal Sciences (ICFAMMT 2022). The conference was held at the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, IITRAM Ahmedabad, India, during January 20–22, 2022. The conference was organized jointly by the Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, India & Space Society of Mechanical Engineers (SSME), Space Applications Center, ISRO, Ahmedabad. We received 326 abstracts, out of which 172 abstracts were accepted for presentation in the conference. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the conference was conducted in the virtual mode. We invited 8 keynote speakers from the academic community across the world, including University of Pretoria, South Africa, National Technical University of Athens, Arts et Métiers Paris Tech, France, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) and Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR). Plenary talk was given by Shri N K Gupta, former Deputy Director & Project Director, Cryogenic Stage (C-25), LPSC/ISRO and INAE Distinguished Visiting Professor (DVP), India. ICFAMMT-2022 received sponsorship from DST-SERB, Govt. of India, and various industries such as ALTAIR, ANSYS, SM Creative Electronics Ltd., and SR Avimarine Spares Pvt Ltd.
