One-week STTP on Robust Control of Autonomous Vehicles: Theory to Practice

This training program is designed to provide a theoretical and practical understanding of controller designs for Autonomous Vehicles.
Beginning with a review of classical controllers, the course will progress towards advanced intelligent algorithms used to control and ensure stable operation of Autonomous Vehicles.
In the course, MATLAB will be explored to demonstrate Autonomous Vehicles for hands-on practice.
The sessions will be delivered by eminent speakers from Academia and Industry who are working in the domain of Autonomous Vehicles.
Objective:
- To learn the fundamentals of Autonomous Vehicles and their applications such as medical, agriculture, space mission, and surveillance.
- To understand the kinematic and dynamic modelling of Autonomous Vehicles with simulation and practical deployment.
- To understand the advanced controllers for control of Autonomous Vehicles.
- To familiarize with different strategies for Autonomous Vehicles navigation and path planning.
- To explore and demonstrate hands-on practice in the Autonomous Vehicles laboratory.
