Strength of Material Lab
Strength of Material Laboratory is a well-equipped laboratory which provides ideas on evaluating mechanical properties of a given specimen or structure.
Strength of material course is an important part of the course curriculum. The SOM laboratory contains machines for testing of material like mild steel, copper and aluminum, etc. The students are able to synergies the theory with the practical.
We have various equipment in the lab like Impact testing machine, Torsion Testing Machine, Stress and Strain Analysis on a Thin-Walled Cylinder, fatigue testing machine, transmission polariscope.
