Summer Internship Program-SIP@IITRAM



Summer Internship Program (SIP) 2021 offers an opportunity to students from IITRAM and other participating institutions to practically implement their knowledge acquired during their classroom training for a duration of 8 weeks or more.

Application Process

To participate in this program applications must to be submitted through an email to sip@iitram.ac.in. The applications are to be forwarded by the Placement Coordinator/Head of the Department/Competent Authority stating that there is no backlog and/or disciplinary action against the said student.

Selection Criteria for SIP 2021

1.Pre-Final year students will be given preference.

2.The candidate selection is based on the CPI/CGPA, publications, awards, SOP, the student's college and letters of recommendation.

3.Students with backlog and/or disciplinary action are not eligible.

Deliverables during the SIP 2021

  • SIP Interns are required to give a mid-term presentation after every four weeks, to a review committee consisting of a group of academic staff members.
  • The review committee gives feedback and suggests possible improvements in the work.
  • At the end of the program all the SIP Interns make a poster presentation of the work carried out. The poster presentation is open to the public. It is also evaluated by faculty members.
  • A completion certificate will be issued to all SIP Interns only after the completion of internship tenure.

    In Summer Internship Program (SIP), the students from outside institutes (other than IITRAM) will have to pay a fees of

  • Rs. 2000/- for internship of duration up to 02 Months
  • Rs. 5000/- for internship of duration between 02 Months to 06 Months
