The Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji attended the inauguration ceremony of Institute of Infrastructure, Research and Management (IITRAM), which is situated in his Assembly constituency of Maninagar. IITRAM was inaugurated by former Deputy PM of India and Lok Sabha MP from Gandhinagar Shri LK Advani ji. Shri Narendra Modi stressed on the need to create a strong and skilled manpower that will take India to newer heights and talked at length about the importance of human resource development in taking India ahead on the path of development. He said, "Need of the hour is to create skilled manpower that can help in Rashtra Nirman. And we will need so much manpower in the coming days. Human resource development is linked to the future of the nation. And we are blessed with tremendous youth power. Imagine how much they can contribute towards nation building."
Research and learning at IITRAM takes place across four Schools imbued with our philosophy of multidisciplinarity and interdisciplinarity.

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) at IITRAM houses the disciplines of Economics, English Literature, Psychology, and Sociology. At present, the Department has five faculty members who teach a diverse range of courses at both the graduate and postgraduate levels.

Since I came from Vadodara, this institute for me always stood as a home away from home where I got an entire team of highly qualified faculties alongside the lifelong hostel memories. The support and guidance that I got here, got me through my entire BTech career; may it be faculty, staff or friends. The SSIP Cell at IITRAM boosts up all the Tech savvy minds and helps them direct their idea towards a product, which in my case turned out as me being a Director and CTO (Chief Technology Officer) of the drone-tech startup which was initiated at SSIP which now is a Private Limited company.
I have spent amazing 4 years (2016-20) in IITRAM doing my B.Tech in Mechanical engineering discipline which I'll always cherish. I met some of the best teachers who guided me to do better and best in my career. They were all very supportive in friendship and competitive during study at the same time, which is the best thing any student could wish for during college life. IITRAM had given me ample opportunities through various fests to display my hobbies. I consider myself lucky enough to have encounter of all these experiences, Good ones as well as Bad ones which shaped me as a person I am Today.

The Office of Student Activities, Involvement & Leadership complements students' academic experiences by providing services and resources that engage students in creating campus culture through various student clubs. Currently, it mentors and funds over 10+ student clubs, organizing more than 40+ events throughout the academic year. These clubs include the Chess Club, Kabaddi Club, Gymnasium, and SKI under Sports & Games; Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Singers Club, Drama Club, NEST Club, INK, Dayatva, Economics Club, and NSS under Literary & Cultural; and Coding Club and Robotics & Aeromodelling Club under Science & Technology.
