The Library Resource Centre provides vital support for teaching, Library, and research activities of the Institute using the state of the art library and information services. The LRC is rapidly developing its collection of books, reference books, periodicals, CD/DVD collection and electronic resources. At present, the LRC has a huge collection of books, which includes text books, reference books, a fine collection of books on Literature and English Language and a select collection of Biographies, and General Interest titles.
The Library Resource Centre fully automated with SOUL 3.0 Integrated Library Management Software and also implemented Inegrated RFID Technology, Smart Card, Auto Check in and Check out systems etc.
All members of IITRAM Academic Community are the member of Library Resource Centre. On joining the Institute, their membership is enrolled by default. Alumni and relatives of staff have to fill membership form and then only they will be enroll for membership.

LRC will remain closed on Sundays and Institute holidays.
The Library Resource Centre being a place for individual study and research, members are requested to maintain an atmosphere of dignity, peace and silence within the Library Resource Centre premises.
All members are requested to keep their personal belongings at the Property Counter at their risks. LRC is not responsible for loss of or damage.
No material including books from the Library Resource Centre should be taken out until it is issued out.
Members are requested to handle the LRC reading materials with utmost care. Mutilation, writing, scribbling, marking, cutting pages will be severely dealt with.
The use of personal stereos, music sets, walkmans in the LRC is not permitted.
The audible use of mobile phones is not permitted in the LRC premises.
Suggestions for procurement of new books & other reading materials, if any, from student members may be sent to the librarian.
Members may kindly inform the Library Resource Centre immediately of any change in their contact address including email etc.
Members are requested to leave the reading materials on the reading tables. The Library Resource Centre staff will shelve these materials.
Smoking, food and drinks are not allowed in the LRC.
Members are required to show their ID card to the LRC staff at the Circulation Desk/Property Counter the items being taken out, when requested.
